Jeff Weinberg, M.Ed., MPH, NHA, has been invited to speak Advocates in the Workplace at the national Patient Advocate Conference in Las Vegas presented by the Professional Patient Advocate Institute and Decision Health.
With their share of the cost of medical products and services increasing, consumers need to be armed with more knowledge and skills when dealing with providers and insurers. Almost one-third of working adults report that they assist with the care of an elderly or disabled family member. By subsidizing the availability of patient advocate services, employers can help their employees more effectively navigate a complicated, and sometimes financially hazardous, system.
This session will:
» Identify opportunities for employers to offer patient advocate services as an employee benefit
» Identify options for pricing, business models and marketing to employers
» Review variety of corporate advocacy programs throughout the country
