The series topic: Creative Solutions for Caregivers. Join Senior Assistance as we explore how caregivers and their families can sort through the complex changes and challenges of the aging process. Topics and dates for this Monday evening series include:
May 5—Dealing With Stress and Guilt. Caregivers have little time for themselves as they multi-task between work and caring for their own family and their parent or loved one. This session focuses on how to overcome the symptoms of guilt and stress, including work-life balance techniques.
May 12—Financial & Legal Aspects of Caregiving. Legal planning for seniors can be divided into two categories: 1) health care planning and 2) financial planning. This session provides insight into the costs of services and available resources. Learn the differences between a will and a living will, power of attorney and durable power of attorney, and a trust and a living trust.

May 19—Easing Stress thru Laughter, Meditation & Creative Writing. This session will be an interactive experience led by experts who teach creative alternatives of letting go of stress. The results offer new energy and a sense of well being that help you deal with those challenging days.
